There are textures and colors to suit nearly any mood or décor of a home. American Flooring has just what you are seeking. Carpet varies tremendously. When selecting flooring for your home, consider what you feel is most important.
The most common concerns are price, wear, and stains. Every homeowner wants something a little different. Patterned cut pile, patterned loop, and texture and shag are frequent selections. Ask our design team for samples to check out a color or style that you feel will meet your desires.
Patterned cut pile carpet flooring
Patterned cut pile carpet has loops that are cut the same size. The durability and quality are determined by the pile density and the number of times it is turned. Berber is a patterned loop.
Patterned loop complements modern and rustic settings. It is a practical carpet. The tight loops withstand long term wear and heavy traffic. Olefin fibers, found in many Berber type selections, are impervious to bleach and other water-based stains. Others are made from durable nylon. There is little worry associated with pattern loop carpet.
Texture and shag carpet flooring
For durability and high style, frieze and shag carpet fit the bill. Frieze is an updated shag version. Vacuum sweeper marks and footprints are disguised by this kind of carpet. A high level of twist gives it the textured appearance. The tuft turns back on itself to provide a kinked appearance. More twists mean enhanced performance, compared to lower twist products.
